Entry requirements

  • Attending a secondary school
  • Literacy and numeracy level equivalent to the successful completion of Year 9

You will learn

  • The design process to plan and sketch ideas 
  • Create, design and build engaging 2D digital animations
  • Master the fundamentals of 3D animation to bring creations to life
  • Develop models, textures, and characters for 3D designs
  • Lighting and camera techniques to enhance the visual impact of your work

Course outcomes

Upon successful completion of this program you will receive:

  • Recognition of up to two VCE VET units at Units 1 and 2 level, and a VCE VET Units 3 and 4 sequence
  • ATAR contribution: if you receive a VCE VET Units 3 and 4 sequence you may be eligible for an increment towards your ATAR 
  • Certificate III in Screen and Media qualification
