Student and teacher stories

Image of MC Yuan, hospitality student

MC enrolled at The Gordon as an international student so he could take the steps to achieving his goal of one day owning his own café or restaurant.

Coffee and cooking has always been MC’s passion – he even bought his own coffee machine when he was 18 so he could practice his barista skills on his friends and family. While he was at The Gordon he was also the International Residence Assistant, welcoming new students and helping them to settle in. MC continued his studies at Deakin with a Bachelor of Management.

“No one is born with skills and knowledge, but we are all born with faith and confidence. You can only make your achievements when you believe in them.”
